First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I met my husband when I was 10 and he was 8 (although, I guess technically it was when I was 3 and he was a year or so). We lived in completely different states and had no contact over the years but ended up finding each other out of no where several years (and a few thousand miles) later and have been inseperable ever since.

He is my best friend and my rock. We have two very energetic, beautiful children who constantly keep me on my toes. If you're worried that

your child will be too energetic and crazy during your session, don't be; if I can keep up with my kiddos, I can surely keep up with your little

one(s)... I come prepared with running shoes and love a challenge!

 

I don't know which came first, my love for designing or my love for photography. Even as a child, it wouldn't be unheard of to see me carrying around 1 (or 4) disposable cameras or cheep film cameras with several extra film canisters. I eventually upgraded to the digital kind and then again to my DSLR when I was 20, but I was also writing and illustrating my own books from the ripe old age of 4. If you see my mother, ask her, she's still got them somewhere. Clearly, both photography and design have been a part of my life for a long time.

I am formally educated as a graphic artist and graduated from college

in 2006 (has it really been 10 years already!?!?!?). I love designing logos

and anything print related; I have no official education in photography, but what I do have is 10 years of honing my skills and challenging myself to be better at what I do and the guidance of other friends in the industry.

 

I have always loved capturing the moment - you only live in it once. I bring that same passion to my clients. I want to help you make memories, even if it’s just for a couple of hours. Having children of my own has helped me also to focus on the little things. The details others might take forgranted. It's those little things that we as parents want to remember
